Rare and scare records
On this page it is my intention to document records of rare and scarce birds seen and recorded in the park. It is not intended to be a comprehensive and complete record but simply to highlight notable sightings and where possible give finders accounts and to publish any available photographs.
Bittern- This bird was reported in the Suffolk Bird Report 2003 as being present in Holywells Park and along Holywells Road between January 15th to 23rd.(My thanks to Jean and Ken Garrod and Lee Woods)
